As a small business owner, finding affordable insurance coverage has always been difficult, but after our insurance premiums doubled in 2014, I knew I would have to take matters into my own hands. The biggest challenge we faced in running our family business for the past 16 years was acquiring high-quality insurance that provided the benefits we needed at an affordable price. In the beginning, with some research, I was able to find acceptable policies, but everything changed in 2014. Our premiums doubled shortly after new health reform policies were enacted. Even though my insurance agent tried to help me, the plans that were offered were either unaffordable or did not provide enough coverage. I decided I could not rely on anyone else to solve this problem for me, and I got myself licensed as an insurance agent and began looking for a solution. Through a lot of research and thinking outside the box, I found affordable policies with high coverage and high benefits. In addition, I also gained extensive knowledge on how to make sure I get maximum value out of my insurance policy with the least amount of out-of-pocket expenses. I realized that many small business owners were struggling with the same issues we had and needed the solutions I had discovered. It was that thought that inspired me to become a full-time insurance agent. My name is Robert Hohmann.
