About Rob Horne

My name is Robert Horne I am a photographer and fine artist, shooting still life, product, fine art, fashion and editorial photography for a variety of uses in ads, publications and catalogues and e-commerce sites. I work with 35mm, medium and large format digital cameras. I have experience with a variety of capture programs and use strobe systems and hot lights in the studio and on location along with natural lighting, all depending on the needs of the project. I have an extensive education in commercial and fine art having studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Maryland Institute of Art and Pratt Institute where I have received a BFA in Photography. I often work with clients on concept development through all phases of the production process. I do all post work and retouching needed unless there is a production staff to handle that aspect of he process. I also have an extensive background in pre press and print production. I have managed prepress departments, been in charge of press checks and worked closely with the printing industry for many years.
