About Rob Janssen

Self-driven and curious Project Manager/Leader and Supply Chain specialist, looking to be challenged again. Having left Belgium in 2008 after gaining experience in Transport Planning, Import and Export via ocean, road and air mostly around the Brussels area, I have now decided to return to be closer to the family and friends. During my 15 years abroad, I have had several roles within IKEAs Supply Chain, all included international travel. Started with working with logistic supplier development for suppliers all over Europe, being based in Madrid and Porto before moving to Sweden to IKEA HQ. Beginning as a global Need Planner, enjoying lots of interesting side jobs, I grew into a licensed Project Manager and Leader. Led 2 projects within IKEA HQ, before moving to another IKEA organization, IKEA Industry HQ in 2018. Initially working from Malmo, Sweden, moved back to Porto to continue my role from there. My repsonsibilities went from internal and external stakeholder change management, over process and solution management to KPI development, data structuring and being responsible for all transport related topics for IKEA Industry on a tactical and strategical level.
