About Rob Kelly

I work at Guidewire, the company that P&C insurers trust to help them engage personally, innovate freely, and grow efficiently. I joined the Guidewire Services Center (GSC) in January 2012. Between January 2012 and December 2019, I worked as a technical software consultant on core system implementation projects. In January 2020, I joined the GSC management team taking on a role to drive quality and innovation initiatives for the organization, provide technical leadership to our implementation teams, and represent the organization in global technical forums. I also worked with our most senior technical resources to create a self-directed group of technical leaders. In November 2023, I joined Guidewire's product development organization as a senior engineering manager. My mission in this role is to make engineering teams successful by creating self-directed groups of T-shaped professionals that- Share knowledge and experience - Innovate on quality, standards, and best practices - Explore work from different altitudes of perspective - And have fun while doing it When I'm not managing teams or advocating for quality and innovation in software, I love to write. I've written Guidewire Cloud Standards and supporting white papers on the topics of unit testing, integration patterns, and software configuration management. Our standards and white papers are used by our customers around the globe to safeguard quality, predictability, and security on their implementation projects.
