Rob’s career began at Jefferies in the Options & Futures group, where he played a foundational role in developing POSIT, one of the industry’s first off-exchange trading systems for institutional clients. As one of the earliest employees in this pioneering initiative, he helped grow ITG into a significant subsidiary, which later went public. ITG would eventually be bought by Virtu in 2019 for $1bn.
