Field Officer with local Geelong Apprentice & Trainee Group Training Company Gforce I am an experienced Group Training Field Officer with a proven track record managing apprentices and trainees to completion of their qualification. Prior to employment with Gforce I was a business owner, in the retail and wholesale fresh produce industry, managing a staff of 50 people over 4 locations in Central N.S.W. Relocation to Victoria, lead to a partnership in an industrial coating business applying coatings to 'high wear' areas in a broad range of industrial plants as well as application of waterproof membranes in domestic and commercial construction sites. In October 2005 I commenced as an Employment Consultant in the Gforce Job Service Division assisting long term unemployed people into employment, in 2011 I moved to Gforce’s Group Training Division in the role of a Field Officer working with Apprentices and Trainees. My role is diverse and includes negotiation with host employers, recruitment of candidates, commencement and management of successful applicants through their training, which can include mentoring, conflict resolution, liaising with host employers, work health & safety, administration of training contracts and monitoring trade school commitments to facilitate the completion of the traineeships and apprenticeships.
