About Rob MacAluso

I am an advocate who has the privilege of serving individuals who might not be fully aware of my role. I work as part of a team of care managers, focused on helping young people aged 21 and under who are facing housing disruptions and are associated with the Department of Social Services. We operate across a 32-county area and often encounter systemic barriers in our work. To overcome these barriers, we collaborate with various professional disciplines, community agencies, and leaders at NCDHHS. Our approach involves utilizing person-centered methodologies that combine clinical and ethical experiences with data collection and analysis. By doing so, we provide evidence-based outcomes and services that aim to reduce exposure to environmental traumatic events that may exacerbate their circumstances.
