I'm a senior software engineer and technical leader with 17+ years of experience building professional audio products. I focus on connecting detailed technical work with high-level coordination, helping teams deliver systems more effectively. Throughout my career, I’ve worked extensively in large C++ codebases—from performance-sensitive audio processing to complex business logic—and understand how to balance efficiency with long-term maintainability. At Avid, I've led multi-year efforts across multiple teams to develop integrated audio platforms, including Pro Tools | HDX, Pro Tools | Carbon, and the AAX plug-in ecosystem. I manage roadmaps, guide system architecture, and coordinate the work of 10–20+ developers across distributed teams while serving as a technical point of contact for product management, QA, customer support, and third-party developers. I approach complex problems methodically, breaking them into clear steps that teams can execute. Whether it's scoping a new hardware/software platform or a large software feature, tracking cross-team deliverables, or extending an SDK, I work to keep things organized and moving, and I have been told repeatedly by my colleagues that when I am involved on a project it run more smoothly.
