About Rob Mays

Over the past 20 years, I have led teams of all ages and skill levels in a production environment both in secular events and in churches. My skills and experience in live audio, lighting, and video allow me to be hands-on with both trained industry professionals and those not related to the entertainment industry. In a previous position, I manage a foot facility that houses 6 separate venues that are all in use simultaneously on Saturday and Sunday. These venues are staffed by industry and non-industry professionals, all of which are held to a high standard of execution. Each venue in the facility is linked together via fiber as well as other standard forms of data transfer and also work in sync with other facilities the church operates. In addition to the management of the facility, I also serve as the production director for multiple artists that travel and play corporate events around the country. By managing these artists and their shows I have learned how to ensure the best results possible through planning ahead and communicating with companies around the country. I have 15 years of experience mixing audio for both Front of House and Monitors. I have worked on many national and regional tours during this 15 years. My experience in arenas, theaters, and clubs makes me a valuable asset to any artist and management company. In addition, I have 7 years of experience as Lead Lighting Designer for mega-churches that broadcast live to other churches, the Internet, and television. This requires knowledge of video production, data transfer, set design, and infrastructure design in addition to multiple formats of programming. Outside of work I like to spend time with my 2 children and my beautiful wife. I also enjoy auto sports and exotic cars of all kinds. I look forward to connecting with you.
