About Rob Mernone

My professional experience has included customer service, mechanical engineering consultation/design, and computer consulting services as well as working in the transportation industry. Throughout my working years I have worked in the steel industry as a millwright, the construction of new homes as a punch-out carpenter, draftsman & customer service representative for an office furniture manufacturer, and mechanical draftsman before I was able to use my interest in computers to become a technician. My experience spanning several different industries gives me flexibility that some can only dream of. I thoroughly enjoy troubleshooting and fixing computers. Currently I am pursuing an associate’s degree as a microcomputer specialist, and plan to continue to a BA in the MIS industry. Continually learning is something that is required in the technology field, and something that I enjoy as well. Furthering my education and experience are my immediate goals. I would like to join a company that embraces employees that work hard and are dedicated to solving problems. So my career goal would be to find a company to join that I can grow with. My experience with smaller companies has been positive, as each member of the company must adapt to changing job functions and responsibilities. I enjoy having a variety of tasks to complete, and at times am proud to say that I have been able to solve a task that was thought impossible a time or two.
