About Rob Metler

My desire has always been to positively impact people, not just for the short-term, but for future generations. After 14 years in real estate, I joined Northwestern Mutual in 2011 to help people protect and pass on the legacies they have built, and help them transition into the next season of their lives with certainty. In 2018, I became the Managing Director of the Lake Oswego office. I’m proud to continue to provide insurance and financial planning solutions to my community, but also to mentor our newer advisors in this fulfilling career path and build our team. We are always looking to build our team with talented and passionate individuals who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. I’m fortunate enough to love what I do, but in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ann, and our five children. Our happy place is our family cabin in Lake of the Woods, Oregon, where we frequent each summer. If we’re not at the cabin, you can find me supporting my children at their sporting events and theatrical productions.
