I advise C-Suite leaders through major organisational change programs that target leadership development, creation of high performing teams, solving complex cultural challenges, and enhancing diversity & inclusion within the organisation. I'm focused on the creation of must-have evidence-based research that addresses key organisational challenges to better empower CIOs on their transformation journey. Providing Leadership Team workshop facilitation and coaching. In my 25 year career, I've held IT & Business Leadership positions in IT Infrastructure, Project Management, PMO, Strategy, Business Operations, Talent Development, Coaching & Mentoring. Transformation, Change, Learning & Delivering Value & Outcomes have been the constant in this time. Prior to joining Gartner, I held a Director for Project Management and Leadership Coaching & Mentoring in Team Member Experience Services in Dell IT. As a Volunteer, I was the Communications Director with PMI Ireland Chapter (since Dec2017) after a two-year term as Regional Officer hosting events in Cork, Galway & Limerick. To feed my passion for learning, I host & produce a weekly podcast called 1% Better. The vision is simple - to help others (and myself) improve and reach their goals in a variety of areas. So far, this journey has been worthwhile in so many ways. I hold a Diploma in Executive Coaching with Irish Management Institute & ACC with International Coaching Federation (ICF). I have a PMP since 2012 & an ITIL v3 Expert since 2015. I gained my undergraduate in NUIG with a BSc. in IT & Business (Hons) in Experienced applying a balance of high emotional intelligence, wisdom & pragmatism to ambiguous situations and complex problem-solving. Proven ability to remain calm under pressure when dealing with crisis & problem situations. Comfortable managing upwards, dealing with paradox and learning on the fly. Continually learning new skills, competencies, and processes. I have a strong belief in developing culture & core values within a team & organisation. Accomplished presenter and speaker. My Podcast has helped here! I'm a Mindfulness practitioner and advocate and believe that more emphasis is needed to allow us to survive and thrive in the VUCA World we're living in. Clear on my purpose & plan. Took a while to get there. Learned so much from the process and now working to help others to overcome similar challenges.
