About Rob Oregan

I am currently a Senior Nurse Coordinator for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) within the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. As a Registered Nurse I have a wealth of experience in many areas of care, including critical care, education, gastroenterology, pre and post surgery care. I was also a Nurse coordinator for the Royal and VIP families of the UAE, managing their care as part of a collaborative team. This experience has allowed me to gain good knowledge of clinical and non clinical aspects within the health care hospital setting, both private and public settings. The role I currently hold requires excellent interpersonal skills, Nursing assessment and education as well as decision making and delegation of tasks. I work specifically with patients who live with Crohn’s Disease and/or Ulcerative Colitis. I streamline their treatments plans in collaboration with the IBD physicians. Throughout my work I also regularly attend continuing professional development training courses. I was awarded a Masters in Nursing, Healthcare Quality Improvement from University College Cork in 2021.
