About Rob Peters

Rob is currently CFO and Managing Director at Minddistrict. In this role I am responsible for the full services circle including finance and compliance of Minddistrict. Rob has followed a certified accountant study at Nyenrode Business University. This study was completed in 2012 and he has been registered (CPA). After working for several years in accountancy, he started setting up the new business line Assuring Medical Apps at Deloitte Innovation. From this work Rob has gained vast experience in the field of compliance, privacy and information security in healthcare. He has taken this experience to Deloitte Legal, from where he was one of the business developers of the Digital Health Compliance offering. Rob is an expert in compliance in Digital Health and in information security (including ISO/NEN etc), privacy (mainly GDPR), quality legislations (such as MDR / MDD) and contracting related challenges within the Digital Health space. In addition to this expert role Rob was responsible for setting up new compliance-related innovative, digital services within the healthcare sector, such as a compliance chatbot for healthcare organizations, and setting up new business models for Deloitte Legal, such as “compliance- as-a-service” and “subscription based compliance services”. Rob has built a good innovation network within healthcare. He has been a mentor of various accelerator programs such as Rockstart Digital Health Accelerator and the Sustainable Healthcare Challenge. He is also involved in various innovation juries and committees within the healthcare sector and was involved as a partner in the annual Dutch Health Hackathon. Rob also writes several articles for healthcare-related platforms and professional journals, he is a speaker on compliance in healthcare at renowned international conferences and he regularly gives guest lectures on information security and privacy and legislation related to medical devices. Rob is co-author of the Digital Health Compliance chapter in the book Pharmaceutical Care in Digital Revolution, published in March 2019 by Reed Elsevier. Currently using my finance (CPA), innovation, business development and compliance experience in my new role as CFO of Minddistrict with focus areas in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Germany.
