About Rob Petty

Since 2011, I have been the Midwest Area Sales Manager for China Airlines. I have enjoyed educating the non-Asian flying public about the Taiwanese airline while simultaneously working with existing Asian travel partners to provide them with world-class service. Prior to this, I was priveledged to work for ANA as an Account Rep, representing Japan's finest airline, All Nippon Airways. There, too, through sales, it was rewarding to educate the American corporate public and travel agency side on Japan in general, and specifically on ANA's superb product and award-winning service. Twelve years experience in recruiting, training and teaching English as a Second Language for a Japanese ESL school at multiple locations across Japan. Proven success in international environments, managing multiple priorities under strict time constraints. Passionate about helping others achieve their dream of working and studying abroad. Specialties: I continue to be interested in intercultural training, international education and leadership. While new to Chinese culture, I consider myself an educator at heart, and thus a curious student of Asian cultures in general.
