I worked for 19 years in operations in the mortgage industry, which I enjoyed, because I knew closing a loan would be making a difference in someone's life. Maybe it was a person or married couple first home. Maybe someone was paying off a huge medical bill or student debt or consolidating their debt to put them in a better financial situation. Either way, I knew I was directly and/or indirectly impactful, which was a good feeling. I then found the PACE financing industry, which was an alternative way for residential or commercial property owners to get financing for energy efficient improvements for their homes or businesses. This allowed property owners to either add solar, replace their roof, install high impact windows and doors, or get drought resistant landscaping, all of which help them save money on their energy and/or water bill and helped reduce the carbon footprint.Having been in the Navy, I learned how important it was to be part of a team where everyone had a specific role to complete a mission or duty. I'm looking to get back to a place in my career where I can be part of a greater team to where I can lead. So, I'm currently enrolled in the Certified Associate in Project Management course through Project Management Institute. Once I have completed the course and receive my certification, I look forward to becoming a big asset to a company and help them succeed and reach their goals.I'm loyal worker, a great team player, and can adapt to many situations. I am very detailed oriented and always to look to cross-train whenever possible. Given the opportunity, I can help your company get to the next level.
