About Rob Sharpe

I am an influential and dynamic executive with extensive experience leading large ($100M -$1B), investment strategy and programs to achieve aspirational outcomes. As a transformational change agent, I am passionate about building and coaching incredible teams who innovate and revolutionize the customer experience to win in the marketplace. With a consultative mind and entrepreneurial drive, my career started internationally. I learned about cultural transformation, proactive risk management, and the powers of digital transformation to revolutionize customer journeys and experiences. On my return to Canada I joined TELUS' Customer Experience organization, delivering on aspirational goals for our customer, business, team, and community. I then progressed and grew with the People & Culture team to drive organizational performance, with the Customer Solutions Delivery team to enhance industry leading reliability, and with the Customer Technology Excellence team to completely revolutionize the way we work, play, collaborate, and connect with a generational investment which brought PureFibre to millions of Canadians. In 2024 I joined an incredibly innovative team at BC Hydro, responsible for the rapid deployment of EV charging stations across British Columbia. As a strategic arm for CleanBC's Go Electric Public Charger Program, BC Hydro plans to add 3K charging ports to our world class network by the end of 2030, including the "Electric Highway".
