I have an in-depth knowledge of the drug development life cycle and extensive experience in high-growth companies across therapeutic areas including neglected, orphan, and rare disease drug development. As the senior vice president and comprehensive C-suite leader for Karuna during its acquisition transition to Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), I have motivated Karuna’s team to continue its fast-paced progress in R&D and toward commercialization of KarXT while transitioning all the information, systems, and processes to BMS, meeting all integration deadlines including NDA review and planned product commercialization. RECENT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Led governance development for portfolio execution, process optimization, risk mitigation, global commercialization, and SOP best practices. I have overseen portfolio, program & alliance management, IT, finance, HR, and operations in biopharma. Recruited, built, and developed high-performing teams, navigating through transitions and acquisition integration, motivating for elevated morale and productivity during times of growth, scaling, and restructuring. Established innovative business models and virtual development organizations, leveraging external funding sources and adapting to new challenges. I have a master of science degree in chemistry from New York University and a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. I have a project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
