About Rob Taylor

Rob is the former Director of Environmental, Sustainability and Compliance at Lenovo in Morrisville, NC. Over the last fourteen years, he had developed the framework and foundation of several programs in support of Lenovo’s current ESG achievements. Not only had this included product environmental objectives and achievements, but it has also required solid processes to ensure product and country worldwide regulatory requirements are achieved through the product compliance review board process. Various programs, including successful worldwide ISO certifications, setting emissions reduction goals and climate change Net-Zero commitments and operations of the Lenovo Foundation are also part of Rob’s responsibilities. In addition to the ESG activities mentioned above, Rob also has a strong background on product development processes. In Lenovo, he had managed teams of development engineers in support of Lenovo Server, Workstation, Notebook and Desktop product-engineering, including level-3 technical activities and the management of overall operations for Lenovo’s PC quality teams. Prior to Lenovo acquiring the IBM PC division in 2005, Rob held several IBM development management responsibilities, including IBM ThinkPad development and the development of a wide portfolio of Options and Accessories for IBM PC products. Rob holds a BSEE from Florida Atlantic University and a MBA from Nova University.
