I have strong business acumen, having owned and operated my own business for over 14 years, employing 20+ staff. Building relationships, sales, strategy, financial planning, decision making, organizational skills and leadership have been major components of my operation. I have a strong interest in community and education involvement with council and school board of trustees and I have endeavoured to foster a culture of high community and student outcomes, accountability, strong values and ethics, positive relationships between governance and management and prudent financial planning. I have a quiet confidence alongside strong interpersonal skills which enables me to communicate well across all levels, both personal and professional. I am a reliable and trustworthy individual, who believes respect is the ultimate currency when building relationships, and I am loyal to those with whom I associate.
