I am trained as a Gestalt Therapist and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner - the later specifically involving an embodied and nervous system approach to working with trauma. I firmly believe in the therapeutic potential of the relationship between client and therapist as a path to healing, facilitating increased wholeness and wellbeing. I'm happy to go further and say that therapy has the capacity to not only help people with their day-to-day challenges but also create possibilities for unlocking potential inherent in all of us.
