About Rob Wendolowski

I solve problems and build great teams. I'm passionate about using data and technology to better people's lives and finding innovative ways to solution, deliver and operate. I've built and scaled technology teams that go above and beyond. I'm a constant learner and enjoy sharing my knowledge, coaching and empowering people to grow. At age 10, my dad bought a Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer and I was hooked from the start. In high school, I discovered that I also had a passion for teaching technology and helping people use it. Working at Algorithmics fueled my passions, as I had the freedom to innovate (such as building cloud computing before there was a cloud) and solve interesting problems. I joined TD to expand my experiences and make a bigger impact, starting as an Architect before moving to technology leadership roles. I've led teams up to 130 in size, local and global; managed data and operational systems, including a 40+ application portfolio and central data services; and have delivered on regulatory and enterprise wide programs. I've also volunteered on the Board of Directors for a non-profit (Free Geek Toronto) for a couple of years. When I'm not working, I enjoy being outdoors and active, although perhaps not as much during the pandemic. I both play and coach hockey, and was a competitive Ultimate Frisbee player for over a decade, including an 8th place finish at the World Club Championships.
