About Rob Werner

Hello! I'm a mental health therapist, currently specializing in the treatment of trauma with children, adolescents, and adults at Red Bird Mental Health in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I also work part-time as an outpatient therapist with the Luzerne Intermediate Unit #18. I received my counseling psychology degree from Temple University in 2018 and I'm currently working towards licensure as a professional counselor. My treatment style is very eclectic, utilizing strengths-based and person-centered approaches. I incorporate multiple evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to the specific client, their goals, and interests. I really enjoy utilizing sports, arts, the outdoors, and really whatever outlets allow for creativity while in session. I believe we all have the therapeutic tools within us to heal. However, life can get really tough to the point where we feel lost. In those moments of uncertainty, it can be very easy to adopt distorted views, beliefs, and habits. I believe the role of a therapist is to guide us back to our natural ability to heal so that we can relearn, flourish, and grow.
