About Robb Lied

Robb is a broad based executive leader passionate about understanding client needs, desires and delivering results exceeding expectations. He is driven by a continual desire to improve operations, processes, margins and the bottom-line. He draws upon an open communication style to engage staff and clearly delineate expectations. He enjoyed working for some of the most discriminating clients with exacting criteria and excelled at it. Throughout his career he led teams through strategic changes; including the purchase of two companies, the sale of a division and the sale of a company. He indoctrinated and trained the staffs of the purchased entities into operations. He procured providers to develop custom programs for estimating, billing, job cost and commission functions through three platform changes. Implementing Lean principles into Lied's he fundamentally changed the way people worked. He designed dashboards that helped focus on pertinent daily measures. He drove learning deeper into the organization and created stability by developing standard work processes. Experiences that built camaraderie, teamwork and bonds within the company and created over in savings in two years in a $6 million operation. Robb has substantial experience with family businesses. As a member of a Family Forum for Business peer group for 15+ years they toured each other's operations, presented case studies, solicited feedback, shared best practices and challenged each other. The group also delved into transitions, ownership and succession issues. Robb sold their family business and is currently seeking a new opportunity. When he's not working Robb enjoys tennis, working out, entertaining and following collegiate and pro sports. In the warmer months biking and golf are on the agenda.
