About Robb Wenner
Robb Wenner has worked in the Audio Production community for over 25 years as a sound designer, audio engineer, composer, and educator. Born in Reading, PA and raised in Chappaqua, NY, Robb attended Berklee College of Music and received a B.A. in Education from Illinois Wesleyan University. Wenner has provided audio post-production services for a number of major studio and independent feature films, television and multimedia titles including a majority of animation legend Chuck Jones’ later productions including the Warner Brothers Web-based “Timberwolf” series, theatrical film releases “Chariots of Fur”, “Another Froggy Evening” and “Superior Duck” as well as animated segments for “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “Stay Tuned”. Robb has produced music and sound design for numerous funny and not so funny Television and Radio commercial spots for clients such as Ked’s and Oscar Meyer. Additional notable clients include the 2008 EMMY Award-winning “Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project” directed by John Landis for HBO, “Studio DC” Starring the Muppets for Disney Channel/Henson,“The Great Sketch Experiment” directed by John Landis for JibJab Entertainment, “Frances” for Jim Henson Productions/HIT! Entertainment, national advertising campaigns for ServPro, Goodwill and The United Methodist Church, “Animal Jam” for Discovery/KIDS and Jim Henson Productions, “The Bop-A-Lots” for Wonderfun Entertainment, FOX/SportsNet, and Princess Cruise Lines. In January 2007, Robb joined the faculty of the Art Institute of Tennessee-Nashville and served as the Academic Director of the Audio Production department until 2012. From 2002 to 2020, Wenner served as an adjunct professor at Watkins College of Art and Design Film School and instructed classes in Sound Design for Film. In 2012, Robb joined Auralex Acoustics, Inc. and serves as Marketing Manager where he oversees expanding product and market strategies and is developing training programs for customer service and point-of-sale opportunities.
