About Robbie Carter

I have been working in the ski industry since I was 14. l Initially as a rental technician, then in a retail store, before moving to the instruction side and for the governing body, Snowsport Scotland as a development officer. Since then I have taken my work globally working as a team leader and co-ordinator for NZ Ski at The Remarkables in Queenstown,New Zealand with Interski, in the Aosta Valley in Italy and at Sunshine Village in Banff, AB, Canada. Having worked in this industry whilst studying at university I continued to do so when I left becoming more involved in events, management and organisation. I was involved in a bid to be the BUSC events committee (British Unis Snowsports Council) with 5 other students and while we were unsuccessful on this occasion, continued to help with the running of these events. I went on to run the Scottish University Championships in 2011 and 2012. Working between Canada and NZ I currently work back to back winters instructing and managing instructors in both locations. I am always looking for opportunities within the snowsports and leisure industry and associated industries which would allow me to further my career.
