Hey I’m Robbie and you should follow me for practical hints, tips and advice that will help your organisation be a great place for disabled people to work. Recognised as one of the most influential disabled people in the UK, I’m a disability inclusion architect focused on building equitable workforces where disabled people feel valued and able to belong. My work is rooted in the Social Model of Disability and in removing barriers across the whole employee experience. I have a strong track record of delivering meaningful change across different sectors, supported by Chartered Fellowship of the CIPD. I’m also a life long disabled person and use that experience to ground my work in reality not theory. My focus is simple – amplify lived experience and make sure disabled people are heard. Nothing about us, without us. I’m keen to connect with anyone working to improve disability representation and to strengthen diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility (DEIBA). I also welcome conversations about the BBC’s workforce disability inclusion approach. For clarity, my remit is workforce only.
