Selling isn’t the problem, its the process. I never planned to get into tech. I spent my early years as a bricklayer, which gave me freedom to travel and surf. Eventually I found myself in corporate, managing teams and working on business improvement projects. That's where I discovered my thing: creating efficiencies, making processes run smoother, helping people work better. Over time, I moved into tech and product development. Turned out my analytical mindset and knack for solving problems fit perfectly with building apps that help businesses grow. I've delivered 15+ Salesforce implementations, scaled fintech operations from 6 to over 50 people, and taken 6 apps from idea to launch. But I still struggled with sales for my own business. Two contracts fell through in the same month. Leads progressed to budget approvals and delivery timelines, then silence. That's when I realised sales felt unnatural because I didn't enjoy it, so I'd avoid it and lean into other things to keep busy. I started reaching out to other solo operators on LinkedIn. No more wondering when to follow up or if you're being pushy. I'm not teaching sales. I'm building tools that make sales feel natural for people like us.
