About Robbie Pryde

As Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, my responsibilities include managing client relationships and executing client strategy. Our group is responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Lending & Syndication, Origination, and Credit Management – we work jointly with the Global Markets team on Equity and Debt Capital Markets, as well as Global Transaction Banking.In my previous role as Head of Equities, I led the teams responsible for Institutional Equities, Equity Research, Global Equity Derivatives, Automated Execution, Prime Brokerage and Energy Trading. I joined the firm in when TD purchased Newcrest Capital. I graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and am a CFA charterholder.I'm passionate about building the pipeline for our future leaders – through campus recruitment, group and individual mentoring, as well as internal and external industry panels – taking the time to meet talented individuals and encouraging them along their journey.I'm involved with a number of fundraising initiatives, including TD Securities Underwriting Hope Charity Auction, United Way Corporate Fundraising Campaigns, The George Hull Centre, and Anaphylaxis Canada. I'm also a Board Member of The National Ballet of Canada, and serve on the Advisory Board for Capitalize for Kids, and am a member of the Campaign Cabinet for SickKids Foundation. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and working on my golf game. I'm also a fan of the Leafs, Raptors and Jays.
