About Robby Gass

With 25 + years’ experience, I'm a seasoned agricultural manager, consultant and trainer of large scale Mixed Organic and Biodynamic Farming, Soil Biology and Market Gardening. An experienced people manager with a natural ability to encourage and empower. I'm passionate about and able to make a valuable contribution to constantly improving organic agricultural practices, to the benefit of the farmer, the environment and consumer. For 12 years, I was involved in the hands-on development and implementation of management systems to specifically improve the production of organic / bio-dynamic cultivation and primary processing of medicinal plant species endemic to Southern Africa. Cultivation research, project development and implementation experience made me a valued contributor to the growing natural health industry. After 8 years in Scotland, my interests now lie in the development and management of agricultural projects with an emphasis on soil improvement by implementing user friendly, sustainable, biological methods to ensure an acceptable natural product for healthier living. The connection between the soil microbial web, human microbiome and health is a super exciting field that holds my attention.
