About Robert Ahlers

President and partner of a business owned and operated by Veterans. We are a trucking company providing jobs to Veterans as drivers. We then lease our tractors onto nationwide carriers to move high value and time sensitive freight, like FedEx Custom Critical and Panther Premium Logistics. I also work full-time as a federal employee for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) out of the National Capital Region in Northern Virginia. I have earned my C.P.M.(Certified Purchasing Manager) through the Institute of Supply Management and DML (Demonstrated Master Logistician) through the International Society of Logistics. Previously, I have driven tractor trailers and still hold a valid Class A CDL with all endorsements. I also dispatched, worked the docks, interacted with supply chains and consulted LTL companies in the Akron area. Militarily, I am an action officer with the property accountability cell of the HQDA G-4 staff as a drilling reservist. I transferred from the National Guard to the US Army Reserves to take this position. In July, I completed a successful command of a transportation company in Walbridge, Ohio. I offered up my expertise and training in physical security and anti-terrorism as well to NGB assets. My photography business is a side job/hobby really. I put my pictures on the website and people began to buy them so I must be doing something right. I have shot weddings and events before but mostly it is simply my travels and my eye for seeing things differently. Specialties: Military liaison, research, problem solving under stressful conditions, anti-terrorism, physical security, RFID, containers, AIT, intermodal operations
