Inspired by how a few agencies in India, such as Enterprise, Contract and Trikaya (now Grey), were revolutionizing the creative product in India in the eighties and nineties, I started out as a copywriter with McCann-Ericsson, Bangalore in 1989.A year later, I was with Enterprise in Mumbai, working alongside arguably some of finest creatives in the country - and under one extremely hard taskmaster, Mohammed Khan, a man whose worst tended to bring out the best in people, particularly in the manner in which they practiced their craft.Over the years, I have had the privilege of working on some wonderful brands, including The Times of India, Taj Hotels, Van Heusen, Calida, and Iodex.In I co-founded Fisheye and led the creative effort on brands such as WorldSpace, SF Jeans, Tesco, J&K Bank, Indian Terrain, and Levi's, earning the agency several accolades, including a place among the 10 best small agencies in the country, according to The Economic Times.Phantom is my new obsession, where the objective is very clearly to find newer, fresher, more exciting ways to meet the needs of modern marketing.
