I have 20 years of professional experience with the planning, design and technical coordination of new construction and adaptive reuse mixed-use residential, commercial and hospitality projects from initial planning through project close-out.I am experienced with the production and coordination of presentation, permit and technical construction drawings for various project and construction types to meet regulatory requirements, International Building Code, Austin Building Code, Chicago Construction Codes and City, State and Federal Accessibility Guidelines.I demonstrate project leadership, including project team management, organizing consultants, client communications, project fee maintenance, scheduling, monitoring contract requirements and construction administration.My extensive design and project leadership skills are reflected in Alta Grand Central, two conjoined, cast-in-place concrete highrise buildings with 346 apartment residences for which I was the project lead responsible from initial planning, design, permitting and construction administration.I was the project lead on award-winning projects including Basecamp River North, a contemporary-styled, mixed income row house development, and Basecamp Old Irving, a community of 48 single-family homes that offers a modern, stylized aesthetic inspired by traditional vocabularies.Prior to joining Rhode Partners in June 2022, I worked as senior project architect at Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, Chicago, Illinois, where I collaborated on the planning, schematic design and development of such projects as: Superior West, a 12-story, 70- unit mixed-use building; PAC Lofts, 1735 N. Paulina, an adaptive reuse loft conversion of a former factory into 95 condos. Later, at Lucien LaGrange Architects, Chicago, Illinois, I worked as senior project architect on such major work as: The Elysian Hotel and Private Residences, Chicago, Illinois; Blue Chip Casino Hotel and Public Areas Expansion, Michigan City, Indiana; and JW Marriott Hotel, Chicago, Illinois. More recently, while at Pappageorge Haymes Partners, Chicago, Illinois, I worked as an Associate / Senior Project Architect collaborating on numerous multi-family residential, commercial and hospitality projects including: 1528 N. Wells, a new construction 13 story hotel in Chicago; First Met Senior Living in Houston, TX; Backyard Townhomes, Chicago, IL; Buckhead Atlanta commercial building, Altanta, GA; Big Grove Brewery, Solon, IA; Alta Grand Central, two highrise buildings with 346 apartment residences.
