About Robert Banton

Hello! I am Robert Banton, a Computer Science student at the University of Texas at Arlington. I am seeking opportunities to establish and develop my technical skills in software development. I have experience with programming languages such as Swift, C, Java, and Python. Additionally, I have exposure to tools such as Xcode, MS Visual Code, Git, and Jupyter notebook to name a few. Currently, I work as a SysAdmin intern at BlackBerry where I support corporate end-users through the use of tools such as JAMF, Windows RSAT, and Exchange Admin Console. In my free time, I have begun exploring certifications in IT alongside my SWE coursework.While my work experience has previously been focused on hospitality and customer service, my personal interests and recent opportunities lie within computer science and information technology. My academic and professional backgrounds have reinforced my skills in a variety of professional and technical subjects such as developing effective interpersonal communication to both technical and non-technical audiences and how to contribute positively in a team environment.
