About Robert Beach

I have worked in the community development field for nearly 10 years. During this time I’ve come to realize that thoughtful development and planning are the bedrock of any successful economic development strategy for any size city. This belief is what has driven me to hold positions focused on the development and financing of programs and projects that steer resources to commercial corridors and real estate projects from New York to El Paso and numerous places in between. Currently I work for a planning and development advisory focused on New Markets Tax Credit financing, a subsidy designed to bring resources to low and moderate communities in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. In this role, I have the opportunity to work with a variety of municipal and nonprofit partners invested in bringing equitable economic development plans from paper to reality. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my dog, unsuccessfully learning the art of fly fishing, and traveling. I’m interested in connecting to learn more about new economic development projects and programs in and around the Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI areas.
