About Robert Bergman

Chemistry graduate and experienced lab technician who has worked with both the upstream and downstream processes in protein manufacturing and purification in cGMP regulated settings. I strive to work both efficiently and effectively, working to maximize yield during upstream processes by adjusting parameters to increase protein expression alongside diligent work in the downstream separation and folding of the expressed protein. My previous experience has taught me the skills used in biomanufacturing such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), proper autoclave sterilization, SDS-PAGE analysis, ion-exchange chromatography, spectrophotometry and more. I strive to learn more about the industry and the work done to eventually assist other scientists in medical and commercial discovery.
