What I do is quite simple. I look at your life - and what you want to do with the rest of it. Is the current lack of money holding you back? Do you have money, but worry about it running out - before you do? Do you think you have left your 'pension planning' too late in life? Do you want to retire, but worry you do not have enough until your state pension starts? Do you worry about taking investment risk? Not enough risk, or just don't understand risk? Do you have money - and just worry about it? Perhaps you do not know what is the best thing to do with it? Would you like to help out your family, but worry about how it will affect you or them? Do you worry about the 'unknowns' such as sickness, redundancy, losing a partner, inheritance tax, care costs, paying to much tax? I have helped hundreds of people gain clarity, allowing them to make better informed financial decisions. I aim to answer three basic questions: Am I going to be alright? Is my family going to be alright? What is my legacy? I am an 'Independent Financial Advisor' with over 20 years experience in helping clients with their financial issues. I am 'directly authorised' by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA no. 968637) and am permitted to offer regulated advice on investments, pensions, ISA's, life assurance, critical illness, income protection if required. My first introductory meeting is at my expense, with no cost or obligation on your part. We usually have this meeting by phone or zoom, or if you are local to me (East Yorkshire) we could meet up personally. This meeting usually lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour - depending on what you are looking for. If you then wish for me to help you, I charge £500 for doing a thorough and critical examination of your current financial position, and produce some forecasts as to where you are heading. We can also build into your forecasts the impact of saving more or less, spending more or less, giving money away, purchasing something major, paying for care costs, retiring sooner, or using existing cash to generate better returns than bank accounts.
