About Robert Bogdanovici

I bring over 11 years of experience in IT, with more than 8 years focused on data. My career path spans QA, Web Development, BI, and Data Engineering, which allows me to combine strong technical expertise with a business-oriented mindset. Currently, as a Data Engineer at eMAG, I design and optimize scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Kafka, and Hadoop, ensuring governance and enabling real-time analytics for business and marketing teams. I also collaborate with data science teams to integrate ML workflows and deliver actionable insights. Previously, at Enlight Invest Corp, I built the company’s reporting system from the ground up — designing data ingestion through APIs, developing ETL processes, and implementing reporting and visualization in Tableau. Alongside these technical contributions, I managed cross-functional teams and projects, aligning data solutions with business needs. Earlier in my career, I worked as a BI Developer at eMAG, delivering QlikView/QlikSense solutions, and as a Web Developer and QA professional, where I gained a strong foundation in software development and quality assurance. Certified in Google Cloud Data Engineering and AWS Data Engineering, I value reliability, transparency, and collaboration in building scalable data solutions. I am now looking to continue my career in Denmark, in an environment where I can contribute to impactful data-driven decision-making.
