I have participated in seven New York State active duty missions in response to natural disasters such as Hurricane Irene, Tropical Storm Lee, and Superstorm Sandy. My primary duties during these missions included working for the Assistant Chief of Staff G4 Logistics Team setting up the Joint Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (JRSOI) and working in the Joint Operations Center (JOC) as the project lead responsible for coordinating, procuring, tracking, reporting, and managing Class bulk fuel requirements in order to sustain military support operations. In addition, other duties and responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams as a distribution platoon leader for the Forward Support Company, 204th Engineer Battalion, responsible for providing sustainment support operations.
