About Robert Bratherton

During my career, I have been employed in both the Commercial and Public sectors, and have an expansive knowledge of the operations of business within both. The positions I have held include Finance Manager, Management Accountant and Senior Internal Auditor. Throughout my various roles, one of the key similarities has been the use of my strong communication skills with colleagues throughout the staff hierarchy, liaising with a range of individuals from business executives, to junior managers and admin staff (both internally and externally), the majority of whom having limited financial knowledge. I am an enthusiastic, motivated and determined individual, who strives for accuracy and success, and am keen to shoulder additional responsibilities to assist in my own personal development. I am also an experienced finance manager, who models “best practice” and endeavors to encourage and support staff in their own personal career progression. I excel under pressure, adhere strictly to deadlines and am experienced in making significant cost savings through the streamlining of business processes. I have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, which are used to produce detailed performance reports and have experience of using numerous financial systems.
