I have a background in developing and managing government budgets. I seek technically sound and creative solutions to overcome obstacles ensuring financial feasibility.I have 41 years of experience and rose through the ranks in both the Fire Service and the Army National Guard. I have obtained unparalleled experience in emergency response planning, tactics, coordination, communication, and operations. I have held numerous positions where I was responsible for operational planning, policies and procedures, field operations and incident response deployments. My education and training includes several methods of planning, preparation and execution, with a practical application. Specific credentials include Integrated Emergency Management, the Incident Command System and the Military Decision Making Process, and participation in Lien Six Sigma process.I have had a wide range of leadership and management experiences from company grade to general officer. All of these experiences have been backed by professional career development through institutions of higher education. I am a proven leader and manager in peace time and in time of conflict. I am accomplished at working with and between multiple local, state, federal, and non-governmental agencies at various levels.
