About Robert Browne

I am a communication professional and scholar specializing in marketing, persuasion, business communication and computer-mediated communication. My four years of experience in e-commerce has centered around search engine optimization, ASO, Google Play, iOS App Store, vendor and partner relations, project management, design, creative copy writing and blog posting. I also have experience with website regression testing, social media management, public relations, and sales. I have a passion for business development, strategic communication, and analytics. Back in the day, I taught as an adjunct professor at Minnesota State University - Mankato. I have experience teaching interpersonal communication, argumentation, public speaking, and fundamentals of communication studies. In early 2012, I decided to pursue a PhD in communication studies where I focused my attention on rhetoric (persuasion)and emerging social media platforms like Reddit. After a semester, I put a hold on furthering my education and plunged back into the private sector. In Norway of all places! I learned about so much during my education but I like applying my skills, and abilities in the professional world. A few rules I try to live by are lessons never end, any situation provides crucial learning experiences, and improving communication is one of the best ways to make a positive change in the world.
