About Robert Bryce

My role is to support them craft solutions, through coaching, collaboration techniques and supporting theirs and their team’s wellbeing. – By applying the IECL structured coaching methodologies I have witnessed colleagues turn around problem relationships and be more effective in roles. – ’ Whether it’s an individual or a business, there are very few challenges that we can overcome by ourselves. In business most major projects rely on the capabilities of different businesses to deliver complex outcomes. By helping colleagues to apply the Collaborative Working framework described within ISO 44001 Collaborative Business Relationships we are building more effective business relationships to deliver great outcomes for clients – in late 2019 I was tasked to explore the wellbeing risks of our workforce and come up with a program to identify the risks and provide a range of solutions to address the findings. After research I came across the Benny Button Team of Dr Adrian Medhurst and Troy Mansell. From the get-go, there was an alignment of purpose and shared values. The program delivered tangible benefits to the extent that it is now being rolled out across the UGL business. I started my working life as an apprentice boatbuilder/shipwright. I learnt to craft and repair boats (see my profile photo). From that very practical start I have worked in the design, construction, and operational maintenance of vessels of many different sizes, in locations around the world – growing teams and closing them down when the work was done. Along the way I have developed my passion for the wellbeing of my colleagues and family.
