About Robert Buehring

Since completing my Bachelors and then Masters degrees in Geoscience at the University of Texas at Austin in 1991, I have worked for 32 years at Chevron as a petroleum geoscientist in a wide array of Development, Appraisal, Exploration and Unconventional projects. I specialize in integrated interpretation of well, seismic, and engineering data to generate and evaluate prospects, provide input products for reservoir modeling, and advise management decisions. My most recent experience is in Global New Ventures as a Senior Exploration Advisor, conducting Exploration, Discovered Resource, and New Country Entry evaluations. I have extensive experience with various subsurface interpretation platforms, including Landmark, Paradigm, and Petrel. I am thorough, meticulous, and passionate about my work, and I focus on delivering results. I have much to offer for anyone ready to leverage a highly experienced petroleum geoscientist who still gets as excited for each new endeavor as a new hire grad.
