Instagram: Robertbuxton_ I have recently completed a year of Audit and Assurance with Deloitte LLP as an IP Student. I was an active member of the Isle of Man Army Cadet Force from 2016 till late 2021 in which I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. My roles and responsibilities included teaching a variety of subjects to cadets, taking parades and assisting adult instructors. I have represented the Isle of Man at a regional shooting competition and at a regional First Aid competition. My team placed first at the Regional First Aid Competition and went on to represent the Isle of Man ACF in the Northwest Region at the National First Aid competition at which we placed third. In 2019 I was part of a small team of 3 cadets, we challenged ourselves and other cadets to create Christmas hampers, these were then delivered to the Manx Deaf Society to be handed out to families in need. The project included organizing the collection of goods, packing and display, and writing a letter to parents/guardians of cadets. I maintain a strong interest in physical health since leaving the Army Cadet force. I train daily in disciplines for weight-lifting and cardio health at my local Gym in Ramsey. This has improved my discipline and determination both in and outside of the gym as personal goal setting has become an everyday task as I strive to get better each day. I have been fortunate to have travelled across the world and this has developed my interest in global cuisine and learning new recipes which I perfect when I prepare and cook most of my own meals.
