About Robert Byrd
In January 2016 I made the move over to Community Ambulance where I assisted the clinical department with QA/QI then assisting with their field training program. In May 2016 I was promoted to the position of Operations administrator with duties consisting of assisting the Operations Managers with day to day operations.I started my career with AMR in July 1998 serving in various capacities; my career started as an EMT with the special events division, then moved over to our operations department. In May of along with our public relations department, I started an Explorer program for young adults with an interest in EMS and served as executive advisor until August 2012. Attended paramedic school in 2004 in Las Vegas and have served as an EMT preceptor, Paramedic FTO, clinical specialist, and special event supervisor. Part of the responsibilities of the special event supervisor were to rebuild the special event department and secure contracts on a local level.
