In this age of information we have reached new heights of connectivity and information sharing. The endless bounds of the future seem to grow more tangible than by the day. Yet today, there is a trend of using information to focus on our differences in a way that results in separation. This focus is damaging equity, making society’s promises invalid far too often. It is upsetting to witness and experience, as it is in my core to believe in equality amongst people. I recognize the innate human desire to be safe, loved, and fulfilled in purpose. It is also my belief that we are at our best when we work together. I think we need our education system to build our communities to foster virtue, unity, a sustainable future for the next generations. I work toward this future every day. In over 15 years of professional experience in education and social justice, I look forward to walking the continued path of advocacy, enrichment, learning and the fruit bares in our lives. I began my career working in schools as a teacher, administration and in supportive roles to help the continuity, quality, and growth of the program and services offered to our students. Later, I provided financial services to support agency for under served families. I am proud today to join the global push to improve the quality of life for all. Within ACESworld, I lead a team as the Director of the Gender Equality Data Collaborative. We are dedicated to accelerate an end to global poverty by removing the barriers to quality education through partnering and knowledge exchange to create a world of shared prosperity. I am humbly accept the challenge.
