My role as Construction and Engineering underwriter at Aviva is to provide support to broker’s in all aspects on the following products, Contractors All Risk annual and specific policies, forklifts, Computer, Inspection and Special Types Plant polices (blanket or specified bases) polices. Helping to reach yearly growth targets maintaining service levels agreements and negotiating renewals and new business While working in AXA insurance I worked in the branch network as a customer service and Leinster regional support representative. I dealt with customer’s in a face to face environment and over the phone dealing with any queries they have with car, home, van and business insurance. In my role at Richardson Insurance Solutions I was a personal and commercial lines account handler. The function of my role would be to build and maintain relationships with current clients, new business clients and insurers. I was responsible for MTAs, policy issuing, payment and billing enquiries. When I worked at Allianz insurance I was on the personal lines team. I handled midterm changes, general enquiries and billing for a number of products. I also handled outbound leads, built and maintained a pipeline for future sales. I completed my CIP qualification in my first year at Allianz. Before I started in Allianz I was employed by Sky Ireland as a broadband specialist and have also acted in the role of relief team leader. Sky’s call centre is a busy workplace and in my role there were a number of key performance indicators that were measured and for which I continuously needed to maintain high levels. Previous to Sky Ireland I was employed in the construction industry and am a fully qualified plumber.
