He is currently a visiting lecturer at Queen Mary, University of London; and is retained as a research advisor by Stylus capital, a hedge fund trading digital assets. He is the author of-"Systematic Trading: A unique new way to make investment and trading decisions"​ (2015)-"Smart Portfolios: A practical guide to building and maintaining intelligent investment portfolios"(2017)-"Leveraged Trading: A professional approach to trading FX, stocks on margin, CFDs, spread bets and futures for all traders"(2019)-"Advanced Futures Trading"(Forthcoming, April 2023) His last corporate role was as a portfolio manager and researcher at AHL, a quantitative hedge fund. Robert was responsible for the inception of AHL's fundamental strategies group and subsequently managed the fund's $5bn fixed income portfolio. Before that he worked for CEPR, an economics think tank, as a research manager; and as an exotic derivatives trader for Barclays Capital. He spent his early career in the Middle East. Robert has a BA from Manchester and an Msc from Birkbeck London, both in Economics.
