Background
About Robert Cheyne
About Robert Cheyne. I started playing soccer at age 12 playing for my high school team Anfield CCS and my local Sunday league team Molyneux Builders. After graduating high school I went on to study, and play at Myerscoach College with professional Everton Football Club’s tutors and Academy coaches. I passed with distinction in all of my classes which included, Nutrition, Injury prevention, Injury in sport, Fitness testing, Organizing Events, and Practical Sport. I went on to pass my FA Level 1 and disability awareness awards in the UK. Following my time at Myerscough College, I worked for Everton Football Club as a community coach where I coached in different schools, sports centers, and summer camps across Liverpool including disability schools. After working with Everton FC I was employed at the Chill SBC Soccer Club USA, Michigan, at the age of 19. Since my arrival in the United States I have continued to develop my knowledge by taking a number of professional courses, conventions and seminars. I currently hold the NSCAA Advanced National Diplomas and the USSF National 'A' License. My current teams at the Chill SBC are 03 Girls Blue, 02 Girls Blue, 99 Girls White and, 99 Boys Blue. My Philosophy 1.Team-oriented – Teamwork is everything which means, encouraging each other and looking out for each other no matter what. 2.To develop the four pillars of the game as much as possible. Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental. 3.To create an environment where players can express themselves and learn from their mistakes. 4.To teach “Positional Specific Training" as well as a team. 5.To create players who can think quickly in moments of transition. What I look for in players: 1.Players who play with their head up 2.Players who can adapt tactically 3.Players who are willing to accept criticism and feedback 4.Players who are fearless 5.Players with positive attitudes.
